Jess got into stage management by doing her Introduction to Acting professor a favor.
Cyrano’s Theatre Company, the resident company at Cyrano’s Off Center Playhouse, was in dire need of a stage manager for their production of The Ladies of the Camellias by Lillian Groag, happy to earn extra credit her first semester in college she agreed and didn’t let her complete lack of experience stop her.
The production was formative.
Since then she has gone on to stage manage for almost every theatre company in Anchorage, Alaska and she is thrilled to be a part of Alaska’s growing live entertainment industry.
